Type: Batch application
Flags depression contours.
Batch Depression Contours is used to change the graphics pointer of depression contours. A contour is considered a depression contour if it is closed and has an elevation inside it that is lower than the contour elevation. While depression contours can be flagged during creation by the DTM engine, this routine allows the contours to be flagged after they have been edited. There are options to flag contours that not closed (for edge of sheets), to only flag bottom contours (contours with no other contours inside them), and to only flag contours below a specified area. NOTE: The original raw DTM data must be present for this application to work. Raw DTM data is set in Set DTM as the Layers containing points and break lines.

In the above example, the figure on the left shows contours (blue and red lines) before BatDep has been run. The figure on the right shows the results of running BatDep with the option to only flag bottom contours.

Defines the workspaces to consider when running batch node.
Defines the layers containing the contours lines to be flagged. A number line may be used to define the layers.
Defines the layers containing the DTM points that were used to create the contours. This routine is only reliable if the same points that were used to generate the contours are also used when running Batch Depression Contours. In order for a contour to be flagged as a depression, it must contain a point from one of these layers or a breakline point from one of the DTM Breaks layers, and the point must be at a lower elevation than the contour.
Defines the layers containing the DTM breaklines that were used to create the contours. This routine is only reliable if the same breaklines that were used to generate the contours are also used when running Batch Depression Contours. In order for a contour to be flagged as a depression, it must contain a breakline point from one of these layers or a point from one of the DTM Points layers, and the point must be at a lower elevation than the contour.
Defines the graphics pointer to assign to depression contours.
Defines the maximum area that contours may contain in order to be considered for depression flagging. If this number is 0 then it will be ignored. This option is useful if all contours are being flagged (not just bottom contours), and you want to limit the number of contours that get flagged.
If set to yes, then only contours that are closed will be considered for flagging as depression contours. If set to no, then all contours will be considered.
If set to yes, then only contours that are at the bottom of a depression will be flagged as depression contours. If set to no, then all contours will be considered for flagging.
