CUT POLYGON (CutPol)

Cuts data against polygon.

Detailed Description

Cuts entity data against user defined polygon. Multiple workspaces may be cut from. If the cut data is to be copied or moved to another VrOne file the contents will be merged into one file if cut from multiple workspaces.

Parameters

Cut from

Defines the side of the polygon to cut data from. Options are Inside and Outside

Action to take on cut data

Data cut from polygon can be:

Thrown away	Thrown away – Cut data will be deleted
Change Graphic Pointer	Change graphic pointer – Data cut will have it’s graphic pointer changed and will be placed back in the workspace.
Copy to File	Copy to file – Copies cut data to user specified file.
Move to File	Move to file – Moves cut data to user specified file.

Workspaces to consider

It is possible to cut data from up to 2000 workspaces if this parameter is set to All open.

Line graphic pointer to change to

If the action to take on the cut data is to change its graphic pointer then this parameter defines the line graphic pointer to change line entities to.

Symbol graphic pointer to change to

If the action to take on the cut data is to change its graphic pointer then this parameter defines the symbol graphic pointer to change symbol entities to.

Minimum line distance

Any resulting cut line that is shorter than this ground distance will be deleted.

Vr File to cut to

Defines the VrOne file name to cut to if the action to take on the cut data is Copy to file or Move to file. If this file does not exist, it will be created. If this file exists the cut data will be appended.

Show warning before cutting?

If this parameter is set to Yes then a dialog will be displayed warning that deleted data cannot be recovered.
